Tina Low Back Pain Therapy
Low back pain assessment is based on biomechanical causes of the low back pain focusing on vertebrae, discs, facet joints, lumbar nerve roots, hip ball and socket joint, sacroiliac joint, and muscles. With pain provocation tests we will try to find the triggers which will help us understand the nature and cause of the pain.
A thorough assessment will be done on individuals that are currently in pain, and for those who are interested in general back fitness without current low back pain.
Based on findings we will create the corrective movement program which will progress in building core and spine stability with proper mobility and strength.
We plan to help you live a pain-free life and to be able to build athleticism
towards your goals.
1.5 + 1h (Assessment + findings + techniques how to spare your back based on findings)
A thorough low back pain assessment is going to show us the cause of your low back pain. To identify triggers I will look for postures, motions, or loads where the pain is provoked.
Based on findings I will help you understand your pain mechanisms and will teach you corrective movement patterns to serve you as a base for a pain-free life.
After an assessment I will send you an email with the summary of the whole session.
(2-3h) A thorough low back pain assessment + 5x individual hours of personal training with one of our NASM certified personal trainers.
When pain is not present in your everyday life, it is time to progress and start building your core and spine stability. Based on the findings of the assessment, we will address the tolerances/intolerances of your spine movements and deficits of your body. With a combination of stability, mobility, and strength, we will help you build a strong foundation.
(2-3h) A thorough low back pain assessment + 2x individual hours of corrective movement exercises sessions.
Based on the findings of your pain
mechanisms, I will help you with corrective movement patterns and basic stabilization exercises. This plan is for those currently in pain where I teach you how to implicate basic movement patterns (hip hinge, squat, lunge, push, pull,..) into your everyday life movements (stand up from the chair, pick up a baby, tie your shoes, etc).
(2-3h) A thorough low back pain assessment + Private Yoga session.
For all those yogis experiencing low back pain in different yoga asanas, I will create a yoga practice that will meet your body tolerances based on assessment findings.
If you have low back pain in a forward bend, then we will avoid all flexion of the spine in the practice. If your pain trigger is in the extension of the spine, then your yoga practice won't have any backbends. I can offer individualised plans for all yoga styles to suit your body's needs.
